Our goal is to deliver a state of the art internal coaching program that will address the heart of internal coaching challenges, equip participants with in depth coaching skills and practical tools designed and tested to work within organisations.

MODULE 1: Fundamentals of Internal Coaching Conversations

Module 1 is a 38 hour module with 24 student contact hours, 2 hours of Group mentoring and 12 hours of Instructor reviewed practice. It focuses on the basics of Solution Focused coaching conversation and practice of coaching skills required for a successful internal coaching relationship.

Module 2 is a 29 hour module with 16 student contact hours, 3 hours of Group mentoring and 10 hours of Instructor reviewed practice.  It is designed to equip participants with an internal coaching framework and a set of coaching tools to deal with different types of client issues within a coaching assignment.

  • How to run an A-Z internal coaching assignment: Process & Flow
  • Coaching Tools using the space and visualisation to assist coachees:
  1. Clarify Decisions

  3. Detox work relationships
  4. Open up Possibilities
  • Setting up an Internal Coaching Framework
  • Practicing and observing the ICF Core Competencies

        In-Between Module 2 & 3:

        Module 3 is a 24 hour module with 17 student contact hours, and 7 hours of Instructor reviewed practice. This is a highly practical module focused on deepening coaching skills, on navigating through Ethical Dilemmas and on practicing through the Live coaching sessions with real clients.

        Module 3 Workshop: 3 days

        • Coaching Ethics and client cases
        • "Bracketing" the Manager role and transition into Internal Coach role: Tools and techniques
        • Live Coaching Day-A series of five coaching sessions with real live clients. EacAnalysis of live coaching conversations with trainer and partici­pants' feedback
        • Practicing and observing the ICF Core Competencies

        Until program completion:

        • Real Client Practice
        • Practify Assignment
        • Submit Recorded Session with client
        • Certification upon all program requirements


        We want to ensure you get everything needed to feel confident in your internal coaching skills. Therefore, this is a rigorous program of 90 hrs spread over a period of six months and requires commitment.

        You will participate in 3 workshops, with a total of 56 coaching training hours (face to face), highly practical and intensive.

        During the workshops, you will get 12 structured coaching practice sessions, and get observed with written feedback from the course instructors for at least 6 of these.

        You will receive 5 hours of Group Mentoring (through Zoom) focusing on practicing specific coaching competencies plus 1 hour individual Mentor coaching, thus covering 6 out of the 10 required mentor coaching hours for ACC accreditation by ICF.

        You will have at least 6 Peer Group Practice sessions, submiting reflections to course instructors for review and support.

        You will coach real clients at least 6 times. Reflections and coaching logs are to be submitted to course instructors.

        You will submit one client recorded session which will be assessed based on ICF ACC markers.

        Upon successful completion of the above mentioned requirements, you will earn your Internal Coach Certification by Atom Wave and you will have received 70 ACSTH thus covering more than the 60 training hours required hours  for ACC accreditation to the ICF.

        Olympia Mitsopoulou founded Atom Wave (then H2gO) in 2002. Since then, Coaching programs for over 100 client organisations internationally have been designed. Amongst client organisations are: AB, Alpha Bank, AXA, Eurobank, IKEA, L'oreal, Philip Morris, Vodafone.

        The Atom Wave "Solution Focused Coaching Skills" program for Leaders was shortlisted for the 2014 European and Mentoring Coaching Council (EMCC) Best program award. In 2017, the ICF ACSTH "Internal Coach Certification" program was designed to address the challenges of the internal coaching. Measuring business impact and ROI of coaching is an inherent part of Atom Wave programs and it has developed the "Zoom In - Zoom OutTM" model for measuring Business Impact and ROI of Coaching.

        Olympia is credentialed PCC coach by the ICF (International Coach Federation), Program Designer and Director of the Atom Wave "Internal Coach Certification" ICF ACSTH program , Certified by Coach U, Certified by SolutionSurfers in BRIEF Coaching and Team Coaching, and by AXIALENT in Conscious Business coaching. She is also a trained assessor for the European Individual Accreditation and the European Quality Award for the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. Her academic background is in Occupational Psychology (B.A. American College of Greece & M.Sc University of Wales, College of Cardiff).

        Olympia is based in Lausanne, and splits her time between working in Switzerland and Greece.

        Marialexia MARGARITI
        Program Instructor, Mentor & Supervisor

        Marialexia Margariti is an organizational psychologist (M.Sc.) & Certified Psychotherapist (M.A., ECP), Professional Certified Coach by the ICF (PCC), EMCC Assessor of training providers (EQA) & coaches seeking individual accreditation (EIA) and supervisor.

        She spent a large part of her career in the corporate world, starting in the area of Human Resources, and later in the areas of brand management and advertising at European and global levels.

        She has coached senior managers, individually & in teams, for more than 1.500 hours and has worked as senior trainer in large coaching & mentoring programs at local and international levels.

        In the last couple of years she is supervising teams of students in coaching training programs (internal & external coaches).

        Marialexia is currently Vice President Quality in EMCC's International Executive Board responsible for matters related to Ethics, Regulation, Diversity & Inclusion, competencies & CPD for coaching/mentoring/supervision. She is a founding member and former President of EMCC Greece. She is also member of European Association of Psychotherapy (EAP), National Organisation of Psychotherapy Greece (NOPG) and International Coach Federation (ICF).
